ESSENTIAL ACTIONS

These 5 Essential Actions will form the framework of your growth throughout the Holiday Challenge.

Simply begin adding them to your Essential Actions list on Day 1 of the challenge and repeat them every day for 8 weeks.

  1. 30+ minutes of physical activity (your choice)

  2. 60+ ounces of water or more

  3. One random act of kindness

  4. Five minutes of gratitude (journal, prayer, meditation)

  5. Hit daily protein intake goal (see below for additional details)

Essential Action #5 Tips

  • Protein intake is generally calculated ~1 gram of protein per pound of your ideal body weight. For example, a woman who is 120 pounds has an approximate daily protein goal of 120 grams. For a man who is 240 pounds and has an ideal body weight of 190 pounds, his approximate daily protein goal would be 190 grams.

  • Some examples of foods that are high in protein:

    • 1 chicken breast = ~37 grams of protein

    • 1 medium steak = ~55 grams of protein

    • 2 hard boiled eggs = ~12 grams of protein

    • 1 scoop of 1st Phorm whey protein = 20 grams of protein
