Habitual Growth has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards apply to the Habitual Growth app on iOS and Android and to habitualgrowth.com, operated by Habitual Growth, LLC. They sit alongside our Terms & Conditions, which every member accepts, and our Privacy Policy.
1. What We Prohibit
No one may use Habitual Growth to create, send, upload, request, share or link to:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, animated or AI-generated imagery;
- content that sexually exploits or endangers a child, or depicts a minor in a sexualized manner;
- grooming, meaning any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes, including moving a conversation to another service for that purpose;
- sextortion, or threats to share intimate images of anyone;
- solicitation of minors, or the trafficking or sexual exploitation of anyone.
Breaking these standards ends the account, and we report it to the authorities as described below.
2. Who Can Use Habitual Growth
Every account, including every sub-account, must belong to someone aged sixteen (16) or older. Sub-accounts are created and managed by the primary account holder. If you believe someone under 16 is using Habitual Growth, email info@habitualgrowth.com with the subject line “MINOR” and we will investigate and close the account where appropriate.
3. How We Prevent Harm
- Members can message only people they are connected with, and anyone can block another member at any time. Blocking takes effect immediately.
- Reporting tools are built into the app on messages, members, groups and group names, profile pictures, Challenges and Plans.
- Challenges and Plans that members create are reviewed before they are published.
- Staff can preserve reported material as evidence and suspend an account immediately while a report is investigated.
4. How to Report a Concern
- In the app: use Report on the message, member, group, profile picture, Challenge or Plan. You never have to leave the app to report.
- By email: write to info+childsafety@habitualgrowth.com, or to info@habitualgrowth.com with “CHILD SAFETY” in the subject line. Do not attach or forward images you believe show a child being abused; describe where you saw them instead.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency number (911 in the United States) first.
- You can also report directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
5. What We Do When We Receive a Report
- We review and act on reports of child sexual abuse material or imminent risk to life within twenty-four (24) hours.
- We remove the material, suspend the accounts involved and preserve the evidence securely.
- We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the NCMEC CyberTipline, as United States law requires (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and cooperate with law-enforcement requests.
- We keep a preserved report and its evidence for at least one year, or longer when law enforcement asks.
- We never tell the reported member who reported them.
6. Compliance with Child Safety Laws
Habitual Growth complies with the child safety laws that apply to it, including United States federal law on the reporting and preservation of child sexual abuse material, and the laws of the countries where our services are offered.
7. Child Safety Contact
Our child safety point of contact is Nicole Alloro, who is responsible for our CSAE prevention practices and these standards. Contact her at info+childsafety@habitualgrowth.com.
