This page explains how to delete your Habitual Growth account, or ask us to delete it. It applies to the Habitual Growth app on iOS and Android and to habitualgrowth.com, operated by Habitual Growth, LLC. You use the same account in the app and on the website, so deleting it closes it everywhere. What deletion removes and what we keep is set out in full in Section 12 of our Privacy Policy.
1. Delete in the App
- Tap your profile picture at the top of the screen, then the settings (gear) icon next to your account. This opens Profile.
- Tap Account Information.
- Tap Delete account permanently.
- Choose why you are leaving if you wish (this is optional), then tap Continue.
- Confirm with your password, or tap Forgot your password? Text me a code and enter the code we text you. Then tap Yes, delete account.
Deleting in the app closes your account immediately.
2. Request Deletion on the Web
Sign in to your account at preview.habitualgrowth.com, open Profile & Account, then Delete your account. This opens an email to us, already addressed and filled in with your account email. Send it, and we will handle it as described in Section 4. If you can’t sign in, use the email option below.
3. Request Deletion by Email
Email info@habitualgrowth.com with the subject line “ERASURE” and ask us to delete your account. Send it from the email address on your account: we verify that every request comes from the account holder before acting on it, and we may contact you to confirm.
4. What Happens Next
When you request deletion on the web or by email, we confirm the request and complete the deletion within thirty (30) days.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. It closes and anonymizes your account rather than erasing every record. When your account is deleted, we:
- cancel your subscription and archive your saved payment methods;
- replace your name with “Deleted member,” replace your email and login with a non-functional address, blank your phone, address, photo and related profile fields, and deactivate the account so it can no longer be used;
- delete your Sequoia profile, including its health section;
- delete the data Sequoia stores about you, including your Sequoia conversations and their messages, capsules and embeddings, and the AI-observability traces of your Sequoia requests that we can match to your account;
- delete your contact fingerprints, device tokens and API keys, end your connections, delete pending requests and blocks, and end your messaging sessions.
Some records are kept, as Section 12.2 of the Privacy Policy explains: invoices, payment and tax records; Challenges and Plans you created, in anonymized form; messages you sent to other members, until their 365-day retention period ends; your record in our marketing and CRM platform, archived and marked do-not-contact; staff support audit records; and records our payment processor keeps under its own legal obligations.
5. Sub-Accounts
Deleting a primary account also deletes every sub-account it manages. The sub-accounts are closed first, in the same way as the primary account.
